Chuck Wilsker

Chuck Wilsker is President, CEO, and Co-Founder of the Telework Coalition (TelCoa), a not for profit association headquartered in Washington, DC, and he has specialized in telework and telecommuting for over 10 years. TelCoa supports and enables the advancement of virtual, mobile, and distributed work through research, education, technology, and legislation. Chuck’s interests also include the benefits of telework as a means of providing employment opportunities for older and disabled workers, including service disabled veterans, as well as workers in rural locations.
At TelCoa, Chuck and his team have assisted with the development of telework programs for such organizations as McKesson Health Care, KP (Kaiser Permanente) OnCall, and Conagra foods. On the Federal side, the TelCoa team collaborated on the Telework Enhancement Act, which passed into law, and they were also involved in additional telework-favorable legislation proposed by Congressmen Udall and Terry.
He is currently a member of the Internet Society, the Association of Contingency Planners, and the National Council on Readiness and Preparedness. Additionally, Chuck has written numerous articles on teleworking and has been quoted in local and national press, including the Washington Post, USAToday, the Wall Street Journal, Money Magazine, Government Computer News, ABCNews.com, and CNN.money.com, and has appeared on ABC’s World News Tonight and NBC Nightly News.
